Tobias König

Tobias König is founder and managing director of König & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG. After qualifying as maritime trader, he worked in various German and international marketing divisions. He started his entrepreneurial career in 1992 with maritime and real estate operations and was among those who founded Ahrenkiel Seeschiffsbeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG in 1995. In 1999 established the issuing house König & Cie. with Tobias König as its sole managing director and one of the partners heading a team of four Employees.

Jens Mahnke

joined König & Cie. on June, 1st, 2008, and was appointed to the König & Cie. management board with responsibility in the company for the shipping sector. Previously he served seven years for Nordcapital Group, where he was responsible for the shipping project development of the company and the establishment of a shipbroking company, where he served as managing director. Prior Jens Mahnke worked with Frachtkontor Junge & Co. as a chartering broker. Jens Mahnke gained further experience with Skaarup Shipping in New York and as a broker in all other major shipping markets for several years during an apprenticeship with ship-owner H. Schuldt in Hamburg.
