Das Konsortium Albert Ballin steht Berichten zufolge möglicherweise vor der Übernahme von weiteren 33,3 Prozent an Hapag-Lloyd.
„Das wäre eine gute Nachricht für Hapag-Lloyd und seine etwa 2500 Beschäftigten an Land und auf See. Wenn Deutschlands größte Reederei an den Standort Hamburg gebunden werden kann, dann ist das auch ein starker Impuls in die Hamburger Wirtschaft und den Hafen“, sagte ver.di-Landeschef Wolfgang Rose.
