Fredriksen plant Bestellung von zehn neuen Großtankern
Trotz der Tonnageüberkapazitäten und einiger finanzieller Probleme bei Tankerunternehmen will der norwegische Reeder John Fredriksen neue Schiffe für eine seiner Reedereien ordern.
Frontline 2012 steht kurz vor der Bestellung von zehn Großtankern der VLCC-Klasse, sagte Fredriksen jetzt der „Financial Times“. Er habe Angebote für die Neubauten mit treibstoffeffizientem Design über je 85 Millionen Euro vorliegen. Das finanzielle Risiko sei daher nicht so groß, auch wenn er wisse, dass viele Marktteilnehmer die Idee nicht nachvollziehen könnten.
