• King Robert
  The MS "King Robert" cut quite a good figure making its way up the Elbe River last week. On its first visit in Hamburg the Capesize bulker - 290,55 meter in length and 45 meter in breadth - left a deep impression. The vessel came from Port Cartier via Rotterdam to the bulk terminal Hansaport in Hamburg with 110.000 tons of iron ore. Last Saturday the busy bulker started again to Baltimore and the Finnish port Pori. The MS "King Robert" has a deadweight capacity of 170,500 tdw and a cubic capacity of about 191,500 cbm. The bulk carrier has nine cargo areas and two slop tanks plus one residual tank. The bulker is able to load and discharge different grades of product simultaneously. It is designed to fully comply with the latest rules with respect to the technical design, safety and environnment protection
